Calarasi Medical College*

The issuance of the Current Professional Certificate is based on Decision 14/2018 of the National Council of the Romanian College of Physicians.

The current professional certificate is issued by the College of Physicians of Romania, through the territorial college of the C.M.R. of which the doctor is or was a member, the data being valid for the period during which the doctor is or was registered with the respective college.

If the doctor was a member of the CMR in two or more territorial colleges, they will obtain a current professional certificate from each of these colleges.

In order to issue the current professional certificate at the request of the titular physician, he/she submits to the competent territorial college the following documents:

a) standard request;

b) proof of identity (certified copy “according to the original” of the identity card/passport);

c) proof of payment of the fee into the account of the territorial college issuing the document, the amount being established at the level of each territorial college by decision of the Council.

The documents may also be sent by postal or courier services, as well as by electronic means with digital signature.

The document shall be issued within a maximum of 30 days from the date of submission of the complete documentation.

The current professional certificate is valid for 3 months from the date of issuance.

The member certificate of the Romanian College of Physicians is issued and released by the territorial college of the Romanian College of Physicians in whose jurisdiction the applicant physician has, as the case may be, his/her domicile/ residence or place of work/ the unit where he/she is about to carry out his/her activity. - The member certificate of the Romanian College of Physicians is granted upon request to the persons provided by art. 376, para. (1) of Law no. 95/2006 regarding the health reform, republished, with subsequent amendments and completions, who cumulatively meet the following conditions:

a) hold an official qualification in medicine, within the meaning of art. 377, para. (3) of Law no. 95/2006 regarding the health reform, republished, with subsequent amendments and completions;

b) are not found in any of the cases of unworthiness or incompatibility provided by law;

c) are medically fit to practice the medical profession;

d) have not interrupted the practice of the profession for more than 5 years or have obtained the bachelor's degree in the last 5 years.
