The "Professional Scholarship" is a national social program addressed to all students attending vocational education and consists of monthly financial support.
The "Professional Scholarship" is also granted to the children of foreigners who are beneficiaries of a form of protection in Romania or to foreigners, respectively citizens of the European Union/Economic European Area and of the Swiss Confederation with the right of residence/stay on the territory of Romania, who attend vocational education.
Students in vocational education cannot simultaneously benefit from the "Professional Scholarship" and the financial support granted to students within the National Social Protection Program "High School Money".
At the level of the Ministry of Education, a national committee for monitoring the granting of the "Professional Scholarship" is established.
