The allowance for family support is a form of assistance for families with low incomes who are raising and caring for children up to 18 years old. The granting of the family support allowance aims to supplement family incomes in order to ensure better conditions for raising and educating children, as well as to encourage the attendance by school-aged children in the care of low-income families of educational courses organized according to the law, as per art. 1, para. 2 of Law 277/2010 regarding the family support allowance, republished, with subsequent amendments and completions.
