- The teaching positions in higher education obtained in accredited higher education institutions from member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, from the Swiss Confederation, and in prestigious universities from other countries are automatically recognized by the Petroleum-Gas University of Ploiești.
- The provisions of this procedure apply to Romanian citizens, citizens of member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, the Swiss Confederation, and citizens of third countries.
- The teaching positions obtained at other accredited higher education institutions than those provided for in art. 1 are recognized only on the basis of an international mutual recognition agreement, concluded at intergovernmental or interuniversity level.
- The occupancy of a teaching position in the Romanian higher education system is carried out in accordance with the legal norms in force.
