The "Professional scholarship" is a national social program addressed to all students attending professional education and consists of monthly financial support.

The "Professional scholarship" is also available to the children of foreigners who are beneficiaries of a form of protection in Romania or foreigners, namely citizens of the European Union/Economic European Area and the Swiss Confederation with the right of residence/residency on the territory of Romania, who attend professional education.

Students in professional education cannot simultaneously benefit from the "Professional scholarship" and the financial support granted to students under the national social protection program "High School Money".

At the level of the Ministry of Education, a national commission is established to monitor the granting of the "Professional scholarship".
