Social benefits left unclaimed by the deceased person with disabilities, representing the allowance and/or the complementary personal budget for the month in which the death occurred, and, if applicable, the social benefits due and unpaid until death are paid to the surviving spouse, children, parents, or, in their absence, to other heirs, under common law conditions, upon their request. The amounts mentioned above can be requested at AJPIS Bihor by the heir within the general statute of limitations, based on the document certifying the heir status, and, in case there are several heirs, a self-declaration stating that the other heirs do not claim these amounts.
