This methodology establishes the way in which the recognition, within the "Henri Coandă" Air Force Academy, of the doctoral diploma and the title of doctor in sciences or in a professional field, obtained abroad, is carried out.

The provisions of this methodology apply to Romanian citizens, citizens of Member States of the European Union, the European Economic Area, the Swiss Confederation, and citizens from third countries who have obtained the doctoral diploma and the title of doctor in sciences or in a professional field, obtained abroad in accredited university education institutions from Member States of the European Union, the European Economic Area, the Swiss Confederation, and in prestigious universities from other countries included in the "List of prestigious universities from other countries", approved by OMECTS no. 5825/2016 and periodically updated.
