This procedure is aimed at defining the standards, rules and instructions regulating the proper conduct of the activities of automatic recognition, by “Grigore T. Popa” University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Iaşi, of Ph.D. diplomas and Ph.D. degrees awarded by accredited foreign higher education institutions. The procedure applies to Ph.D. diplomas and Ph.D. degrees issued by prestigious universities from other states, which are included in the list approved by the Ministry’s Order no.5825/2016 and updated periodically, in accordance with the national and European legislative framework.

The applicant may challenge the resolution within 3 working days of the display of the assessment outcome. The objection is made in writing, according to the model included in the procedure and is uploaded on the PCUe platform and/or is sent to the following e-mail address: rectorat@umfiasi.ro. The assessment committee is reunited within 48 hours of the objection submittal date, and within 3 working days, notifies the applicant by e-mail, regarding the resolution to the appeal. The means of appeal to the recognition decision is by an appeal which can be formulated to the courts, according to the applicable rules of law.
