The state allowance for children is paid to one of the parents based on their agreement or, in case of disagreement, based on the decision of the guardianship authority or the court decision, to the parent to whom the child has been entrusted for upbringing and education.
The change of the legal representative for receiving the state allowance is carried out through a standard request addressed to the Calarasi County Agency for Payments and Social Inspection, accompanied by supporting documents, as applicable:
- in case of the death of the holder - the death certificate presented by the other parent, marriage certificate;
- in case of divorce - court decision by which the minor/minors are entrusted to the applicant;
- in case of placement - copy of the placement order issued by the General Directorate of Social Assistance and Child Protection, or the court decision establishing placement or guardianship to the applicant;
- in case of adoption - the court decision entrusting the child for adoption.
