The Central Unit or Territorial Branch of Land Improvement coordinates the procedural activity regarding the issuance of permits in compliance with the legal provisions in force.

The validity period of the permit is 24 months; before this period expires, a single extension of the permit may be granted, after a written request (submitted to the issuing ANIF unit, at least 5 days before the expiration date of the ANIF permit for which the extension is requested) and after its verification in the field.

The extension of the permit will have a different registration number from the ANIF permit issuance register and is granted for a period of up to 12 months; after this date, a new extension of the permit validity is not possible, and the applicant must obtain, under the law, another ANIF permit.

ANIF issues permits within 30 days from the submission of documentation.
