Art.59 of Law 196/2016
(1) In the case of families benefiting from minimum inclusion income that includes the inclusion support component, one of the adult persons able to work from that family is required to perform, monthly, at the request of the mayor, activities or works of local interest, with respect for the normal working time and occupational health and safety rules.

(2) Exceptions to the provisions of paragraph (1) are families for which the amount of the inclusion support is up to 50 lei. For these, the working hours are set quarterly and are carried out in any of the months of the quarter.
ART. 61
(1) To fulfill the obligation provided in art. 59 paragraph (1) by persons able to work who benefit from inclusion support, mayors have the following obligations:
a) to prepare annually a plan of actions/works of local interest, which can be revised every six months;
b) to keep records of the hours worked for activities and works of local interest, by persons able to work;
c) to provide the persons referred to in letter b) with training in the field of occupational health and safety at the workplace;
d) to display monthly, at their own headquarters, the plan of actions/works of local interest for the current month, the list of beneficiaries of minimum inclusion income, the list of persons who are to carry out activities or works of local interest, as well as the status of activities/works performed in the previous month;
e) to transmit quarterly, in electronic format, to the territorial agency for payments and social inspection, the records provided in letter b).
(2) The duration of working time provided in art. 59 paragraph (1) is calculated in proportion to the amount granted as inclusion support, with an hourly rate corresponding to the minimum gross basic salary per country guaranteed in payment, related to the average monthly working time.
