The "Professional Scholarship" is a national social program addressed to all students attending vocational education and consists of monthly financial support.
Children of foreigners who are beneficiaries of a form of protection in Romania or of foreigners, respectively citizens of the European Union/Economic European Area and of the Swiss Confederation with the right of residence in Romania, who are attending vocational education, also benefit from the "Professional Scholarship".
Students in vocational education cannot simultaneously benefit from the "Professional Scholarship" and the financial support granted to students under the National Social Protection Program "High School Money".
At the level of the Ministry of Education, a national committee is established to monitor the granting of the "Professional Scholarship".
