Suspension of membership is done when the applicant, the pharmacist, for certain reasons wishes to interrupt their activity for a certain period of time and submits to the territorial College headquarters a request asking for the suspension of their membership. At the moment the suspension is requested, the pharmacist must have paid the membership fee until the end of the year and must meet the condition of continuous professional training through a number of 40 EFC hours for that period. The pharmacist is obliged to inform the College of Pharmacists of Romania within 30 days of resuming activity.
