Regarding the Current Professional Certificate, we would like to make the following clarifications:

In accordance with the provisions of the Pharmacy Law no. 266/2008 in sab consolidated form as published in the Official Gazette no. 448/30.06.2009 Part I, as well as the Implementing Rules published in the Official Gazette no. 538/03.07.2009 Part I, pharmacists who will hold the position of chief pharmacist in a pharmaceutical unit (in cases of establishing new pharmaceutical units, as well as changes of chief pharmacist - for those who will take over the position), will address the county colleges for obtaining the Current Professional Certificate.

Also, this document is necessary for pharmacists who wish to practice their profession outside the country's borders.
The methodology for drafting and issuing the Current Professional Certificate was established by Decision of the National Council of the C.F.R. no. 1/2007, decision published in the Official Gazette of Romania Part I no. 324 of 15.05.2007.

We present below the main provisions of Decision no. 1/2007, as follows:
- The Current Professional Certificate will be drafted by the College of Pharmacists in Romania and issued by the territorial college where the applicant is registered;
- The validity of the Current Professional Certificate is 3 months from the Measurement date;
- Within a maximum period of three days from receipt of the request for release of the Current Professional Certificate, the territorial college will send to the College of Pharmacists in Romania the standard application for drafting and issuing the document;
- Within a maximum period of 30 days from receipt of the request, the C.F.R. will draft the certificate and send it to the territorial college;
- The Current Professional Certificate will be issued by the College of Pharmacists in Romania, which will draft it and send it to the territorial college;
- The territorial college will draw up a Register of records - with the identification data of the Current Professional Certificates issued to pharmacists in that county - and will hand them to the applicants under signature of receipt.

The fee for issuing the Current Professional Certificate, amounting to 100 lei, shall be paid into the account of the territorial College, namely the College of Pharmacists Prahova RO91BREL0002001133430100, Libra Bank.

To obtain the Current Professional Certificate, the pharmacist will submit to the territorial college a file containing the documents attached below.
