The issuance of the Occasional Practice Permit on the territory of Romania, necessary for carrying out occasional medical activities by doctors who are citizens of a third state, is carried out in accordance with Law no. 95/2006 regarding the reform in the health field, with its subsequent amendments and completions and with Decision no. 9/2014 of the National Council of the Romanian College of Physiciansregarding the issuance of the Temporary/Occasional Practice Permit for foreign doctors, amended by Decision no.1/2015 and Decision no.1/2017 of the National Council of the Romanian College of Physicians based on the permit issued for this purpose by the Romanian College of Physicians.
The permit is issued for a duration of 3 months.
The permit is issued within 30 calendar days from the above date of submission of the complete documentation.
The permit is issued in 3 copies, one copy will be handed over to the requesting doctor, one copy will be sent to the territorial college in the county where the doctor will carry out his/her activity, and one copy will be filed in the file of the requesting doctor.
