This procedure is described in the Methodology on recognition by Spiru Haret University of the Doctoral Diploma and of Doctor of Science title or Doctoral title in a professional field earned abroad, approved by Senate of Spiru Haret University by Decision no. 43 of 7 March 2017. It is applicable to the candidates who have been awarded the Doctoral Diploma by: - accredited higher education institutions or research and development institutions from a member state of the European Union, of the European Economic Area or of Swiss Confederation; - accredited higher education institutions or research and development institutions included in the List of prestigious universities from other countries, approved by order of the Line Minister and undergoing regular updating; - accredited higher education institutions or research and development institutions making the object of an international mutual recognition agreement signed at intergovernmental or interuniversity level. Time limit to file a challenge 30 days from communication. Means of appeal The decision may be appealed against to the Ministry of Education / National Centre for Recognition and Equivalence of Diplomas / National Council for Certification of Academic Titles, Diplomas and Certificates / competent courts of law from the Romanian territory.
