The Central Unit or the Territorial Branch for Land Improvement coordinates the procedural activity regarding the issuance of approvals in compliance with the legal provisions in force.

The validity period of the approval is 24 months; before the expiration of this period, a single extension of the approval can be granted, after a written request (submitted to the issuing ANIF unit at least 5 days before the expiration date of the validity of the ANIF approval for which the extension is requested) and a field verification.

The extension of the approval will bear a different registration number from the ANIF approval release register and is carried out for a maximum period of 12 months; after this date, a new extension of the approval’s validity is not possible, and the applicant will have to obtain, according to the law, another ANIF approval.

ANIF issues approvals within 30 days from the submission of documentation.
