Procedure on the automatic recognition of the teaching degrees in higher education awarded by accredited higher education institutions from abroad. The automatic recognition of the teaching degrees awarded abroad may occur in case of participation in a competition for the occupancy of a vacant teaching position or in other teaching activities carried out by the “Vasile Goldi?” Western University of Arad. The automatic recognition of the teaching position awarded abroad is carried out before the competition for the occupancy of a vacant teaching position at the “Vasile Goldi?” Western University of Arad if the applicant wishes to participate in the competition procedure. The occupancy of the teaching position at the “Vasile Goldi?” Western University of Arad is carried out according to the applicable law and the own methodologies; The provisions of this procedure apply to the Romanian citizens, to the citizens of European Union, European Economic Area Member States, citizens of the Swiss Confederation and of third countries. Where applicable, the “Vasile Goldis” Western University of Arad consults the National Center for Diplomas Recognition and Equivalence (hereinafter called CNRED) and the National Council for Certification of Academic Titles, Diplomas and Certificates For the automatic recognition of the teaching degrees, an evaluation commission of the file for recognition of the teaching degrees is to be established, appointed by Rector’s decision. After reviewing the file, the Evaluation Commission proposes to the University management a solution on the request for recognition of the teaching degree in 30 days since the application has been registered. The deadline may be extended in justified cases, the applicant being informed in writing on the extension of the deadline. Ways of appeal: The appellants have the right to submit appeals within 3 (three) working days since the result of the evaluation commission was communicated. The commission for solving the appeals is to review and communicate the result of the appeal in 5 (five) days since the end of the deadline for appeals submission.
