The procedure establishes the manner in which the automatic recognition, within Ioan Slavici University of Timișoara, of teaching positions obtained in accredited higher education institutions abroad is conducted.

The provisions of this methodology apply to Romanian citizens, citizens of member states of the European Union, of the European Economic Area, of the Swiss Confederation, and citizens of third countries, who have obtained teaching positions in accredited higher education institutions in member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, the Swiss Confederation, and in prestigious universities from other states included in the "List of prestigious universities from other states", approved by OMECTS no. 5825/2016 and periodically updated.

Proof of teaching position, issued by the mentioned institutions obtained at: a) accredited higher education institutions from a member state of the European Union, the European Economic Area, and from the Swiss Confederation; b) accredited higher education institutions included in the List of prestigious universities from other states (https://www.cnred.edu.ro/en/updated-list-prestigious-foreign-universities), approved/updated by order of the Minister of National Education and Scientific Research; c) accredited higher education institutions that are subject to an international mutual recognition agreement, concluded at intergovernmental or interuniversity level.*

The decision of recognition or non-recognition may be appealed within 30 days from the date of confirmation by mail of the receipt of the decision. Subsequently, the final decision of the University may be challenged in the courts of law.
