- The certificate of membership of the College of Physicians of Romania is issued and released by the territorial college of the College of Physicians of Romania in whose jurisdiction the applicant physician has, as the case may be, domicile/residence or place of work/unit where he/she is to carry out his/her activity.
- The certificate of membership of the College of Physicians of Romania is granted upon request, to persons provided for in art. 376, para. (1) of Law no. 95/2006 on health reform, republished, with its subsequent modifications and completions, who cumulatively fulfil the following conditions:
a) hold an official qualification in medicine, according to art. 377, para. (3) of Law no. 95/2006 on health reform, republished, with its subsequent modifications and completions;
b) are not in any cases of unworthiness or incompatibility provided by law;
c) are medically fit to practice as a physician;
d) have not interrupted the practice of the profession for more than 5 years or have obtained their bachelor's degree in the last 5 years.
