1. Legal basis:

According to:
Art. 563 - The profession of pharmacist is exercised on the territory of Romania, under the conditions of this law, by natural persons holding an official qualification in pharmacy, as follows:
a) citizens of the Romanian state;
b) citizens of a EU member state, a state belonging to the EEA or the Swiss Confederation;
c) spouse of a Romanian citizen, as well as direct descendants and ascendants supported by a Romanian citizen, regardless of their citizenship;
d) family members of a citizen of one of the states provided in lett. b), as defined by art. 2 para. (1) point 3 of the Government Emergency Ordinance no. 102/2005 regarding free movement on the territory of Romania of citizens of the EU and EEA member states and citizens of the Swiss Confederation, republished, with subsequent amendments and completions;
e) citizens of third states who are beneficiaries of the status of permanent resident in Romania;
f) beneficiaries of the status of long-term resident granted by one of the states provided in lett. b).
2. For pharmacists who are citizens of third countries
Required documents:

The address issued by the Ministry of Education and Research – National Center for Recognition and Equivalence of Diplomas (CNRED) recommending the completion of a traineeship in a public or hospital pharmacy, agreed upon by the College of Pharmacists of Romania;

The certificate of completion of the full traineeship, in a public or hospital pharmacy;

Copy of the bachelor's degree;

Copy of identity document;

Traineeship logbook stamped and signed by the Territorial College, where the pharmacy in which the traineeship was performed is located.
3. Verification of language skills
According to Art. 5851*):
(4) The College of Pharmacists of Romania may conduct the verification of language skills only after the issuance, according to EU norms, of the European professional card for pharmacists or, as the case may be, only after the recognition of the professional qualification of the pharmacist concerned.
In assessing language skills, the College of Pharmacists of Romania will consider the duration of the activity that is to be performed.
Proof of language skills may be provided by a certificate of language proficiency.
