The citizen of an EU or EEA member state, other than Romania, or the citizen of the Swiss Confederation shall submit the certificate of proficiency in the Romanian language. Romanian citizens are not required to submit the certificate of proficiency in the Romanian language. If the document is issued in a language other than Romanian, a copy of the translation into Romanian made by a translator authorized by the Ministry of Justice shall also be submitted.*

The candidate shall submit the criminal record certificate, which is within the validity period, or the express consent of the candidate provided through a written declaration for obtaining by the Ministry of Justice the extract from the criminal record, in accordance with the law. If the criminal record certificate is issued in a language other than Romanian, a copy of the translation into Romanian of the respective document, performed by an authorized translator of the Ministry of Justice, shall also be submitted.*

The candidate will submit the aptitude sheet issued by the occupational medicine doctor, certifying that he/she is medically fit to perform the activity of judicial technical expert.*

The candidate will submit a statement on their own responsibility that they have full exercise capacity, written in Romanian.*

If the diploma was obtained in an EU member state or belonging to the EEA, other than Romania, proof of diploma recognition according to Law no. 200/2004, with subsequent amendments and completions, will also be submitted. If the document is issued in a language other than Romanian, a copy of the translation into Romanian of the respective document, performed by a translator authorized by the Ministry of Justice, will also be submitted.*

The candidate shall submit proof of payment of the interview registration fee, the amount of which will be established by order of the Minister of Justice. The amount of the interview registration fee can be found in the announcement regarding the organization of the respective interview session, posted on the website of the Ministry of Justice (https://www.just.ro/despre-noi/cariera/).*

The candidate shall submit the document attesting fulfillment of the condition regarding a minimum of 3 years of experience in the specialty in which the diploma was obtained. Details regarding the form and content of the document attesting fulfillment of the condition concerning the internship of at least 3 years in the specialty in which the candidate obtained the diploma can be found in the announcement for organizing the respective interview session, posted on the website of the Ministry of Justice (https://www.just.ro/despre-noi/cariera/). If the document is issued in a language other than Romanian, a copy of the translation into Romanian of the respective document, performed by a translator authorized by the Ministry of Justice, shall also be submitted.*

The candidate shall submit the document certifying inclusion in one of the following categories of persons who may acquire the status of judicial technical expert through an interview: a) the person who has obtained from other ministries or specialized public institutions the authorization to carry out work in the specialization for which they are taking the interview; b) the person who has acquired the qualification required to carry out the activity in that specialization, provided for in the nomenclature of specializations of judicial technical expertise, under the conditions of the special law regulating the organization and practice of an activity or profession and the manner of access to it; c) the person who holds the title of academician, university professor or associate university professor, doctor docent or PhD in the respective specialization. Details regarding the form and content of the document certifying inclusion in one of the categories of persons who may acquire the status of judicial technical expert through an interview are provided in the announcement regarding the organization of the respective interview session, posted on the Ministry of Justice website (https://www.just.ro/despre-noi/cariera/). If the document is issued in a language other than Romanian, a copy of the translation into Romanian of that document, made by a translator authorized by the Ministry of Justice, shall also be submitted.*

Proof of citizenship of one of the EU member states or belonging to the European Economic Area or of the citizenship of the Swiss Confederation will be provided with the identity document and, if necessary, with another document proving citizenship.*

The candidate will submit a recommendation regarding good professional and social reputation, obtained from the workplace, professional associations in the field or, as appropriate, from other organizations and institutions with which he/she has collaborated. If the document is issued in a language other than Romanian, a copy of the translation into Romanian of the respective document, made by a translator authorized by the Ministry of Justice, shall also be submitted.*

The candidate will express their consent regarding the processing of personal data.*

The application for registration will be drafted in Romanian and will include information about the applicant: first and last name, personal identification code, citizenship, home address in the EU or EEA member state and, if available, residence address, telephone, fax, e-mail. The application will mention the exam session and the specialization for which the candidate is applying. Registration for the interview must be made at least 30 days before the date of the interview, after the announcement is published on the Ministry of Justice website (https://www.just.ro/despre-noi/cariera/). Candidates will download the specific application form for each interview session, the template of which is uploaded by the Ministry of Justice as part of the announcement regarding the organization of the respective interview session, posted on the Ministry of Justice website (https://www.just.ro/despre-noi/cariera/).*
