The statement must be notarized, indicating that at present he/she does not undertake or support actions against the rule of law or national security and that in the past he/she has not carried out such activities either.*

Civil status documents may refer to the birth certificate, marriage certificate, certificate of name/surname change or divorce, etc., superlegalized/apostilled and with translation into Romanian, legalized. In case the civil status documents submitted in the file do not clearly state the mentions regarding name, surname, place of birth, name/surname of parents, a notarized affidavit is required, from which the civil status data must result, or a certificate from the embassy with the civil status data.*

The criminal record from abroad must be presented in original, apostilled/superlegalized and with a legalized translation into Romanian.*

If the consent is given before the authorities of another state, an apostille/legalization and a legalized translation into Romanian are required*

If applicable, it will be given by a statement authenticated by a notary in the presence of a parent*

From this declaration it must result whether he/she wishes to acquire Romanian citizenship while maintaining domicile abroad or to establish domicile in Romania*

The document proving the payment of the citizenship card fee, both for the holder and for minor children included in the application, as applicable. The fee for a Romanian citizenship card is 90.00 lei (the amount includes VAT).
