By this procedure, the quality of PhD supervisor awarded by an accredited higher education institution from abroad is automatically recognized at the “Vasile Goldis” Western University of Arad. This procedure applies to the Romanian citizens, to the citizens of Member States of the European Union, European Economic Area, of the Swiss Confederation, and to citizens of third countries who were awarded with the quality of PhD supervisors by accredited higher education institutions from the Member States of the European Union, European Economic Area, of the Swiss Confederation, and to citizens of third countries. Only for temporary exercise of the position, the provisions of the Law 200/ 2004 and of Art. 296 of the Law 1/2011 are implemented directly. Exerting the rights conferred by the quality of PhD supervisor and the occupancy of a teaching position at the UVVG are carried out according to the applicable law. Way of Appeal If the request is not approved, the doctoral office notifies electronically the applicant who may submit an appeal in 10 working days since the reception of such notification. The appeal is reviewed in 5 working days by a commission appointed by CDAS. The university final decision may be appealed in court.
