Procedure regarding the drafting and issuance of duplicates of study documents*

The graduate submits, to the Office for Completion and Issuance of Study Documents, the application for issuance of the duplicate of the lost document, accompanied by the Official Gazette of Romania, the notary's declaration, the notarized copy of the birth certificate, the fiscal stamp, and 2 photographs;
The secretary from the Office for Study Documents checks whether the series and number of the lost study document have been correctly published in the Official Gazette of Romania. The secretary from the Office for Study Documents presents the decision, together with all the documents submitted by the graduate, to the chief secretary of the University to be signed by the rector/vice-rector responsible for teaching activity. The secretary from the Office for Study Documents receives the signed decision and the documents.
The secretary from the Office for Study Documents prepares the duplicate of the diploma, based on the stub of the lost diploma (The duplicate of the diploma must be identical to the initial document. If a diploma form from that period is no longer available, a typed duplicate is prepared).
The secretary from the Office for Study Documents presents the duplicate of the diploma to the chief secretary of the University, to the dean and to the rector/vice-rector responsible for teaching activity for signature. When issuing the duplicate, the same procedure is followed as for issuing the diploma.
The duplicate of the academic transcript/diploma supplement is prepared at the faculty secretariat and must be identical to the initial document. After signing, it is issued at the Study Documents Office.
