The purpose of this procedure is to present the steps for the recognition within SNSPA of teaching positions obtained in an accredited higher education institution in a member state of the European Union, European Economic Area, and in the Swiss Confederation, as well as in prestigious universities from other countries from the List of Prestigious Universities from Other States, approved by Order no. 5825/2016 with subsequent amendments and completions.

The teaching profession is found at position no. A.8 in Annex no. 2 of Law no. 200 of 2004 regarding the recognition of diplomas and professional qualifications for regulated professions in Romania, with subsequent amendments and completions.*

Appeal routes

Appealing the recognition decision: The applicant has the right to appeal the decision of the Internal Specialty Evaluation Committee within 10 calendar days from receiving the notification. The appeal submitted by the applicant will be analyzed and resolved by the Appeals Committee within IOSUD SNSPA within a maximum of 30 calendar days from the date of registration at the university. The decision of the Appeals Committee is final at the SNSPA level and will be communicated to the applicant at the contact details provided.
