The Central Unit or the Territorial Branch for Land Improvements coordinates the procedural activity regarding the issuance of approvals in compliance with the legal provisions in force.
The validity period of the approval is 24 months; before this period expires, a single extension of the approval can be granted, following a written request (submitted to the issuing ANIF unit at least 5 days before the expiration of the validity period of the ANIF approval for which the extension is requested) and its on-site verification.
The extension of the approval will have a different registration number from the ANIF approval issuing register and is granted for a maximum period of 12 months; after this date, a further extension of the approval validity is not possible, the applicant must obtain, in accordance with the law, another ANIF approval.
ANIF issues approvals within 30 days of the submission of the documentation.
