The air operator registers in the AEROFOTO application, available at the following link: https://aerofoto.mapn.ro/, fills out the request in digital format based on the guidelines and instructions specified in the "Instructions" menu, and clicks the "Send" button. After processing the request, they will receive confirmation of the approval directly in the application or will be informed of the actions they need to take to obtain the requested approval.

If the AEROFOTO application is unavailable, the approval request will be made by following the procedural steps below:

1. Download the standard request form by accessing the following link: https://www.defense.ro/galerie/file/aviz_filmare_foto/Link_1_Formular-tip_Update.docx

2. Fill out the standard request form with the information specified in each respective field;

3. Send the completed form to the e-mail address aerofoto@mapn.ro, complying with the terms of submission specified in inline no. 2 to H.G. no. 859/2021, with subsequent amendments and additions.

4. After analyzing the request, the operator will receive the requested approval or will be informed of the actions they need to take to obtain that approval.

Notes:

If the request is incomplete, applicants will be informed of the need to revise it, and the approval issuance deadline will start from the moment a complete request is submitted.

The approval is valid subject to the conditions imposed by the competent authority.

The approval may be issued for one flight, for a series of flights, or for specified periods of time, not exceeding 12 months.
