- The certificate of membership of the Romanian College of Physicians is issued and released by the territorial college of the Romanian College of Physicians in whose jurisdiction the applicant physician has, as the case may be, domicile/ residence or workplace/ the unit where they will carry out their activity.
- The certificate of membership of the Romanian College of Physicians is granted upon request, to the persons provided for in art. 376, para. (1) of Law no. 95/2006 regarding health care reform, republished, with subsequent amendments and completions, who cumulatively meet the following conditions:
a) hold an official medical qualification, as per art. 377, para. (3) of Law no. 95/2006 regarding health care reform, republished, with subsequent amendments and completions;
b) are not in any of the cases of unworthiness or incompatibility provided by law;
c) are medically fit to practice the medical profession;
d) have not interrupted the practice of the profession for more than 5 years or have obtained their bachelor's degree in the last 5 years.
