Information point on construction products

Product Information Point (Product Contact Point – PCP) under Regulation (EU) No. 2019/515 on the mutual recognition of goods lawfully marketed in another Member State, ensuring that economic operators are provided with information on the application of legislation relating to the free movement of goods within the EU Single Market.

The Product Information Point provides economic operators, free of charge, with information on the national rules applicable to products falling within the scope of EU non-harmonised legislation and subject to the principle of mutual recognition, as well as to products covered by EU harmonised legislation, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2019/1020 on market surveillance and product compliance.

The Product Information Point also facilitates communication between national authorities and economic operators regarding specific product requirements and the manner in which European legislation is applied within the territory of Romania.

Within the Ministry of Economy, Digitalisation, Entrepreneurship and Tourism – Directorate for European Affairs and Internal Relations, the National Product Information Point operates at national level.
