Procedure regarding Suspension of Membership*
Suspension of membership status occurs when the pharmacist, for certain reasons, wishes to interrupt their activity for a certain period of time and submits to the headquarters of the territorial College, namely the College of Pharmacists Neamt, a request asking for the suspension of membership status.
When requesting this suspension, the pharmacist must have paid the membership fee up to the end of the year and must meet the requirement for continuous professional training with a number of 40 EFC hours for that period. In support of the request, the documents listed below must be attached.
The pharmacist is obliged to inform the College of Pharmacists of Romania within 30 days from resuming activity.

Procedure regarding the request for the Current Professional Certificate*
Regarding the Current Professional Certificate, we wish to make the following clarifications:
In accordance with the provisions of the Pharmacy Law no. 266/2008 in the consolidated form as published in Official Gazette no. 448/30.06.2009 Part I, as well as the Application Norms published in Official Gazette no. 538/03.07.2009 Part I, pharmacists who will hold the position of chief pharmacist in a pharmaceutical unit (in cases of establishment of new pharmaceutical units, as well as changes of the chief pharmacist - for those who will take over the position of chief) will address the county colleges for obtaining the Current Professional Certificate.
Also, this document is necessary for pharmacists who wish to practice their profession outside the country's borders.
The methodology for drafting and issuing the Current Professional Certificate was established by Decision of the National Council of C.F.R. no. 1/2007, published in the Official Gazette of Romania Part I no. 324 of 15.05.2007.
We present below the main provisions of Decision no. 1/2007, as follows:
- The Current Professional Certificate will be prepared by the College of Pharmacists of Romania and issued by the territorial college where the applicant is registered;
- The validity of the Current Professional Certificate is 3 months from the date of issuance;
- Within a maximum of three days from the receipt of the request for issuance of the Current Professional Certificate, the territorial college will send the standard application to the College of Pharmacists of Romania for drafting and issuing the document;
- Within a maximum of 30 days from the receipt of the application, C.F.R. will draft the certificate and send it to the territorial college;
- The Current Professional Certificate will be issued by the College of Pharmacists of Romania which will create it and send it to the territorial college;
- The territorial college will prepare a Register of records – with the identification data of the Current Professional Certificates issued to pharmacists in the respective county – and will give them to the applicants under signed receipt.
For the issuance of the Current Professional Certificate, a standard application form must be completed and a fee of 100 lei paid into the account of the territorial college,

Procedure regarding the transfer of pharmacists from one college to another*
The transfer note, necessary for the transfer between colleges, is granted to pharmacists who submit a request for this purpose.
Before issuing the transfer note, the applicant pharmacist is required to pay up to date the membership fee owed to the college from which they wish to leave. The transfer note will be handed over, with signature, to the requester. In the pharmacists’ record register (https://portal.net-dd.com/LstFarma/ColegFarm) the college to which the pharmacist has transferred will be mentioned. If at the college from which the pharmacist is transferring a complaint has been registered against them or a disciplinary investigation has been initiated, the complaint or the disciplinary file will be transmitted to the college to which the pharmacist is transferring.

Procedure regarding obtaining a duplicate of the Membership Certificate*
In order to proceed with the issuance of a duplicate Certificate of Membership of the College of Pharmacists of Romania, the applicant must submit the complete documentation, in accordance with the provisions of Decision no. 4/2004 of the National Council of the College of Pharmacists of Romania, to the headquarters of the College of Pharmacists Neamt, the documents listed below.
The fee for issuing a duplicate of the Certificate of Membership of the CFR is 150 lei, according to Decision no. 1/2018 of the CN of the CFR.

Procedure regarding resuming membership status*
The resumption of membership is done based on an application, which the pharmacist submits to the headquarters of the territorial College, namely the Neamt College of Pharmacists, requesting the resumption of membership starting from a certain date, and in support of the request, the documents presented below are attached.

Procedure regarding enrollment in the College of Pharmacists of Neamt County*
The membership certificate is granted to pharmacists who, upon making a formal request to this effect, meet the following conditions: hold an official pharmacy qualification, are not in any of the cases of unworthiness or incompatibility provided by law, are medically fit to practice as a pharmacist, have not interrupted the practice of the profession for more than 5 years or have obtained their bachelor's degree in the last 5 years, have paid the enrollment fee (the fee is to be paid into the account of the territorial college Cont Libra RO81 BREL 0002 0008 3293 0100, CIF 12664843 or at the College headquarters)
The registration fee for the College of Pharmacists of Romania is 10% of the minimum wage in theeconomy.
