Through this procedure, only within the "Dimitrie Cantemir" University of Târgu Mureș, the teaching positions in university education obtained in accredited institutions abroad, by Romanian citizens, citizens of member states of the European Union, the Swiss Confederation, and third states, are automatically recognized at:

a. accredited institutions of higher education from member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, and the Swiss Confederation;

b. prestigious universities from other states listed in the List of prestigious universities from other states, approved by the order of the Minister of National Education no. 5462/2018, and periodically updated;

c. other accredited higher education institutions abroad, other than those mentioned, only based on an international mutual recognition agreement concluded at the intergovernmental or interuniversity level.

Only in the case of temporary exercise, the provisions of Law no. 200/2004 and art. 296 of LEN no. 1/2011 apply directly. Reserved, vacant, or temporarily vacant teaching positions are filled with priority by the tenured teaching staff of the institution or by associated teaching staff.

The occupation of a teaching position in the Romanian higher education system is carried out in accordance with the legal regulations in force.
