Resumption of membership in the College of Pharmacists of Romania*
The reinstatement of membership is done based on an application, which the applicant, the pharmacist, submits at the headquarters of the Territorial College, respectively the Bucharest College of Pharmacists, through which they request the reinstatement of membership starting from a specific date.
In support of the requested reinstatement, the documents listed below are attached.

Request for current professional certificate*
Regarding the Current Professional Certificate, we would like to make the following clarifications:
In accordance with the provisions of the Pharmacy Law no. 266/2008 in the consolidated form as published in the Official Gazette no. 448/30.06.2009 Part I, as well as the Implementation Rules published in the Official Gazette no. 538/03.07.2009 Part I, pharmacists who will hold the position of chief pharmacist in a pharmaceutical unit (in cases of establishment of new pharmaceutical units, as well as changes of the chief pharmacist - for those who will take over the position), will apply to the county colleges to obtain the Current Professional Certificate.
Also, this document is required for pharmacists who wish to practice their profession outside the country's borders.
The methodology for but also issuing the Current Professional Certificate was established by Decision of the National Council of C.F.R. no. 1/2007, decision published in the Official Gazette of Romania Part I no. 324 of 15.05.2007.
Below we present the main provisions of Decision no. 1/2007, as follows:
- The Current Professional Certificate will be drawn up by the College of Pharmacists of Romania and issued by the territorial college to which the applicant is registered;
- The validity of the Current Professional Certificate is 3 months from the date of issue;
- Within a maximum of three days from receipt of the request for issuance of the Current Professional Certificate, the territorial college will send to the College of Pharmacists of Romania the standard application for drawing up and issuing the document;
- Within a maximum of 30 days from receipt of the application, C.F.R. will draw up the certificate and send it to the territorial college;
- The Current Professional Certificate will be issued by the College of Pharmacists of Romania, which will produce it and send it to the territorial college;
- The territorial college will establish a Register of records – with identification data on the Current Professional Certificates issued to pharmacists from the respective county – and will hand them over to the applicants under signature of receipt.
The fee for issuing the Current Professional Certificate, in the amount of 100 lei, will be paid into the account of the territorial College RO07 BACX 0000 0030 2672 0000.
For obtaining the Current Professional Certificate, the pharmacist will submit to the territorial college a file that will include the documents attached below.

Issuance of a duplicate member certificate*
In order to proceed with the issuance of a duplicate of the Certificate of Membership of the College of Pharmacists of Romania, the applicant must submit the complete documentation at the headquarters of the College of Pharmacists Bucharest, according to the provisions of Decision no. 4/2004 of the National Council of the College of Pharmacists of Romania, the documents presented below.

Pharmacist transfer*
The transfer note is issued by the college where the pharmacist is registered, based on an application. Before issuing the transfer note, the requesting pharmacist is required to pay the membership fee owed to the college from which they wish to leave, up to date. The transfer note will be handed, with signature, to the requester. In the pharmacists' registration record (https://portal.tm-c.eu/LstFarma/ColegFarm) the college to which the pharmacist has transferred will be mentioned. If, at the level of the college from which the pharmacist is transferring, a complaint has been registered against them or a disciplinary investigation has been initiated, the complaint or the disciplinary file will be forwarded to the college to which the pharmacist is transferring.

Registration in the College of Pharmacists of Romania*
The member certificate is granted to pharmacists who, upon making an express request to this effect, meet the following conditions: hold an official qualification title in pharmacy, are not in any of the cases of unworthiness or incompatibility provided by law, are medically fit to practice the pharmacist profession, have not interrupted the practice of the profession for more than 5 years or have obtained a bachelor's degree in the last 5 years, have paid the registration fee (the fee is paid into the account of the territorial college in the amount of 208 lei for persons who registered within 1 YEAR of graduation and 235 lei for the rest of the persons).

Suspension of membership quality in the College of Pharmacists of Romania*
Suspension of membership status takes place when the applicant, the pharmacist, for certain reasons wishes to interrupt their activity for a certain period of time and submits to the headquarters of the Territorial College, namely the College of Pharmacists of Bucharest, a request by which they request the suspension of their membership status. At the time of requesting this suspension, the pharmacist must have paid the membership fee until the end of the year and must meet the condition of continuous professional training with a number of 40 EFC hours for the respective period.

The pharmacist undertakes to inform the College of Pharmacists of Romania within 30 days from resuming activity.
