Grigore T. Popa University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Iasi*

This procedure aims to establish the norms, rules, and instructions to ensure the proper conduct of the activities of automatic recognition, by the “Grigore T. Popa” University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Iași, as an Organizing Institution for Doctoral Studies, of the quality of doctoral supervisor or habilitation obtained in accredited higher education institutions abroad.

The procedure applies to citizens who have obtained the quality of doctoral supervisor in prestigious universities from other countries, which are included in the list of prestigious universities approved by OMECTS no. 5825/2016 and periodically updated, in accordance with the national and European legislative framework.

Only in the case of temporary exercise of the quality of doctoral supervisor, the provisions of Law 200/2004 and art. 296 of the National Education Law no. 1/2011 apply directly.
(1) Reserved, vacant or temporarily vacant teaching positions are filled with priority by the tenured teaching staff of the institution or by associated teaching staff, paid by the hour, according to this law.
(2) The employment already approved by the Department Council and approved by the Administration Board, of specialists with recognized scientific and professional value in the field, from the country or abroad, as invited associated teaching staff.

This procedure is aimed at defining the standards, rules and instructions regulating the proper conduct of the activities of automatic recognition, by “Grigore T. Popa” University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Iaşi, as Doctoral Education Organizing Institution, of the Ph.D. thesis advisor capacity or of the habilitation granted by accredited foreign higher education institutions.
The procedure applies to Ph.D. diplomas and Ph.D. degrees issued by prestigious universities from other states, which are included in the list approved by the Ministry’s Order no.5825/2016 and updated periodically updated, in accordance with the national and European legislative framework.
The provisions of the Law 200/2004 and art. 296 of the Law on National Education no. 1/2011 apply only in the case of the temporary exercise of the quality of the PH.D. thesis supervisor.
(1) The reserved, vacant or temporarily vacant teaching positions are covered with priority by the titular teaching staff of the institution or by the associated teaching staff, by hourly payment, according to the present law.
(2) The employment of the specialists with scientific and professional value recognized in the field, from the country or abroad, as invited associate professors, is approved by the Department Council and approved by the Management Board.

Acest procedeu are ca scop definirea standardelor, regulilor și instrucțiunilor care reglementează desfășurarea corectă a activității de recunoaștere automată, de către Universitatea de Medicină și Farmacie „Grigore T. Popa” din Iași, a diplomelor de doctor și a titlurilor de doctor obținute la instituții de învățământ superior acreditate din străinătate. Procedura se aplică diplomelor de doctor și titlurilor de doctor eliberate de universități prestigioase din alte state, care sunt incluse în lista aprobată prin Ordinul Ministerului nr. 5825/2016 și actualizată periodic, în conformitate cu cadrul legislativ național și european.
