Adventus University from Cernica*

The procedure establishes the way in which, upon request from the data subjects, the Adventus University of Cernica (UA) recognizes the doctoral diploma and the title of doctor in sciences or in a professional field obtained at across:

a) accredited institutions of higher education or research and development in an EU member state, the EEA, and the EC;

b) accredited institutions of higher education or research and development included in the List of prestigious universities from other states, approved by Order no. 5462/2018 and periodically updated;

c) accredited institutions of higher education or research and development that are subject to an international convention of mutual recognition, concluded at intergovernmental or inter-university level.

The procedure applies to:

a) Romanian citizens;

b) citizens of Member States of the European Union, the European Economic Area, and the Swiss Confederation;

c) citizens of third countries.

The recognition of the doctoral diploma and the title of doctor in sciences obtained abroad under this procedure is valid and produces legal effects only at the level of Adventus University and is carried out for the purpose of:

a) occupying, for a fixed period, vacant teaching positions, as an associate academic staff member;

b) participating in a competition for occupying a teaching or research position vacant within UA – with employment for an indefinite period;

c) enrollment in postgraduate programs;

d) obtaining habilitation.

The procedure establishes the rules and instructions by which, at the request of the data subjects, the automatic recognition by Adventus University of Cernica (UA) of university teaching positions obtained in:

a) accredited higher education institutions in member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, or the Swiss Confederation;

b) prestigious universities from other countries included in the List of prestigious universities from other countries, approved by ministerial order and updated periodically (Order no. 5462/2018);

c) other accredited higher education institutions from abroad than those mentioned, only on the basis of an international mutual recognition agreement, concluded at intergovernmental or interuniversity level.

The procedure applies to:

a) Romanian citizens;

b) citizens of member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, and the Swiss Confederation;

c) citizens of third countries.

The recognition of teaching positions under this procedure is valid and produces legal effects only at the level of the Adventus University and is carried out for the purpose of:

a) occupying the vacant teaching positions for a determined period, as an associate teaching staff;

b) participating in a competition for filling a vacant teaching position within UA – with employment for an indefinite period;

c) participating in selection committees for filling sideways teaching and research positions within UA.

Procedure establishes the manner in which, at the request of the data subjects, the automatic recognition by Adventus University from Cernica (UA) of the quality of doctoral supervisor or habilitation, obtained at:

a) accredited higher education institutions from an EU member state, EEA and CE;

b) accredited higher education institutions included in the List of prestigious universities from other states, approved by Order no. 5462/2018 and periodically updated;

c) accredited higher education institutions that are the subject of an international mutual recognition agreement, concluded at intergovernmental or inter-university level.

Other situations not mentioned above do not fall under the competence of UA and are subject to recognition and equivalence by CNRED.

The procedure applies to:

a) Romanian citizens;

b) citizens from member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, from the Swiss Confederation;

c) citizens from third countries.

Recognition of the quality of doctoral supervisor/habilitation based on this procedure is valid and produces legal effects only at the level of Adventus University and is carried out for the purpose of:

a) participation in commissions for competitions for occupying teaching and research positions within UA;

b) participation in a competition for occupying a vacant teaching position within UA – with employment for an indefinite period;

c) occupying a teaching position as an associate teaching staff member.
