Heating aid for housing*
According to OUG 70/2011, with subsequent amendments and additions, the home heating aid is a support measure, covered by the state budget, intended for vulnerable consumers with incomes up to a threshold established by law, and aims to cover all or part of the expenses for heating the home.
This is granted for a period of five months, between the date of November 1st of the current year and March 31st of the following year.
The aid is granted to consumers of thermal energy in centralized systems, electric energy, natural gas, and wood.

State allowance for children according to Law 61/1993 regarding the state allowance*
The state allowance for children is granted to all children up to the age of 18, Romanian citizens, without discrimination, as well as to young people who have reached the age of 18 and are attending high school or vocational education organized according to the law, until they finish them.
Eligible for the state allowance for children are Romanian citizens, foreign citizens, as well as stateless persons residing in Romania, under the law, if they live together with their parents.

Granting the allowance/incentive for child raising*
Persons who meet the internship conditions, according to the law (have achieved 12 months in the last 24 months prior to the child's birth, taxable income, or have been in assimilated internship periods, can optionally benefit from the following rights:
Leave for raising a child up to 2 years old, or 3 years old in the case of a child with a disability, as well as a monthly allowance.
Persons who, during the period they are entitled to benefit from child-raising leave, obtain taxable income, are entitled to an insertion incentive.

Social vouchers within the project A Gift from the Heart for Seniors*
In accordance with HCL 71/2019 regarding implementation at the level of Brașov Municipality, social vouchers in the amount of 100 lei/person are granted, to persons of legal retirement age, women - over 63 years, men - over 65 years, with a monthly pension up to 1,000 lei, twice a year, on the occasion of Christmas and Easter holidays.

Family support allowance*
By Law no. 277/2010, the family support allowance is established as a form of support for families with low incomes who are raising and caring for children up to 18 years old, hereinafter referred to as allowance.

Social housing*
According to Law 114/1996, families and single persons with an average monthly income per person, earned in the last 12 months, below the level of the net average monthly wage for the total economy, communicated by the National Institute of Statistics in the last Statistical Bulletin prior to the month in which the analysis is made.
Access to social housing is granted to persons and families evacuated or about to be evacuated from homes returned to former owners, young people under 35 years old, people with disabilities, etc.
In order to solve requests regarding the allocation of a social housing, the commission established by HCL will analyze the applications submitted during the year, and subsequently the allocation list will be drawn up.
Persons who own the following cannot benefit from social housing:
- car or motorcycle less than 10 years old;
- 2 or more cars;
- own a property;
- have transferred ownership of a property after January 1st, 1990;
- have benefited from state support in credits and execution for the construction of a home or hold as a tenant another property from the state housing stock.
