Issuance of member certificate of the Romanian College of Physicians*
The certificate of membership of the Romanian College of Physicians is issued and delivered by the territorial college of the Romanian College of Physicians in whose area the applicant doctor has, as the case may be, their domicile/residence or place of work/unit where they are to carry out their activity. - The certificate of membership of the Romanian College of Physicians is granted upon request to persons provided for in art. 376, para. (1) of Law no. 95/2006 regarding reform in the field of health, republished, as subsequently amended and supplemented, who cumulatively fulfill the following conditions:
a) hold an official medical qualification, within the meaning of art. 377, para. (3) of Law no. 95/2006 regarding reform in the field of health, republished, as subsequently amended and supplemented;
b) are not in any of the cases of unworthiness or incompatibility provided by law;
c) are medically fit to practice the medical profession;
d) have not interrupted the practice of the profession for more than 5 years or have obtained their bachelor's degree in the last 5 years.

Release of Current Professional Certificate*
The current professional certificate is issued by the Romanian College of Physicians, through the territorial college of the CMR where the doctor is or was a member, with the data valid for the period in which the doctor is or was registered in that college.
If the doctor was a member of the CMR in two or more territorial colleges, they will obtain a current professional certificate from each of these colleges.
For the issuance of the current professional certificate at the request of the doctor, the latter shall submit the following documents to the competent territorial college:
a) standard application
b) proof of identity (certified copy "according to the original" of the identity card/passport);
c) proof of payment of the fee to the account of the territorial college issuing the document, the amount being established at the level of each territorial college by a Council decision.
The documents may also be sent by postal or courier services, as well as by electronic means with a digital signature.
The document will be issued within a maximum of 30 days from the date of submission of the complete documentation.
The current professional certificate is valid for a period of 3 months from the date of issuance.
