Authorization of economic operators carrying out activities of dismantling end-of-life vehicles*
In accordance with OG 82/2000, with subsequent amendments and completions, and OMTCT 2131/2005 with subsequent amendments and completions, RAR issues the technical operating authorization for economic operators carrying out activities of dismantling end-of-life road vehicles, based on a capability audit carried out at each of the applicant's work locations.
This procedure describes the way in which RAR processes the files submitted by legal entities for authorization, up to the moment of establishing, in agreement with the applicant, the date of the audit.

Authorization of economic operators carrying out activities of installation, repair or inspection of tachographs or speed limiters fitted on motor vehicles*
According to HG899/2003, with subsequent amendments and completions, and OMTI 3850/2024, with subsequent amendments and completions, RAR issues the technical operating authorization for economic operators who carry out activities of installation, repair, or inspection of tachographs used in road transport or speed limiters equipped on motor vehicles, based on an audit verifying the technical capability performed at each of the applicant’s workshops. This procedure describes the way in which RAR processes the files submitted by legal entities for authorization, up to the moment of establishing, in agreement with the applicant, the date for the audit.
An unsatisfied applicant may use the remedies provided in common law.

*Certification / recertification as ITP inspector*
This procedure describes the requirements considered for the registration of applicants in the ITP inspectors certification/recertification program organized by RAR, a program which concludes with a theoretical and a practical examination at the RAR headquarters and the issuance of the certification/recertification certificate with a validity of 2 years.
Authorization of economic operators carrying out activities of constructive modifications and/or reconstruction of road vehicles*
In accordance with OG 82/2000, amended and approved by Law 222/2003 with subsequent amendments and completions, and with the provisions of OMTCT 2131/2005 with subsequent amendments and completions, RAR issues the technical operating authorization for economic operators who carry out constructive modifications and/or reconstruction of road vehicles, based on a technical capability audit carried out at each of the applicant's workshops.
This procedure describes the way in which RAR processes the files submitted by legal entities for authorization, up until the moment of mutually agreeing with the applicant on the date for conducting the audit.
Certification/Recertification of workshop managers in the automotive field (higher education)*
In accordance with OG 82/2000, amended and approved by Law 222/2003, with subsequent amendments and additions, and with OMTCT 2.131/2005, with subsequent amendments and additions, RAR certifies/recertifies the professional competence of the manager(s) of the workshop in the field of repairing and/or functional adjustment of road vehicles, workshops for dismantling out-of-use vehicles, as well as in the field of replacing chassis and/or bodies of road vehicles, except for workshops that carry out activities involving the replacement of consumable materials, replacement and repair of tires and inner tubes, wheel balancing, replacement of the engine exhaust gas system - exhaust mufflers without catalytic systems.
This procedure describes the manner in which RAR issues the Professional Competence Certificate with a validity of 3 years.

Authorization of economic operators carrying out repair, maintenance and/or adjustment activities of road vehicles*
In accordance with OG 82/2000, amended and approved by Law 222/2003 with subsequent amendments and completions, and with the provisions of OMTCT 2131/2005 with subsequent amendments and completions, RAR issues the technical operating authorization for economic operators carrying out activities of repairing, maintenance and/or adjustment of road vehicles, based on a technical capability audit conducted at each of the applicant's workshops.
This procedure describes the way in which RAR handles files submitted by legal entities for authorization, up to the moment of establishing, in agreement with the applicant, the date for the audit.

*Certification/Recertification of workshop managers in the automotive field (higher education in domains other than technical or secondary education)*
In accordance with OG 82/2000, amended and approved by Law 222/2003, with subsequent amendments and completions, and with OMTCT 2.131/2005, with subsequent amendments and completions, RAR certifies/recertifies the professional capacity of the manager(s) of the workshop in the field of repairing and/or functionally adjusting road vehicles, vehicle dismantling workshops for end-of-life vehicles as well as in the field of replacing chassis and/or bodies of road vehicles, except for workshops carrying out activities of replacement of operational materials, replacement and repair of tires and inner tubes, wheel balancing, replacement of exhaust gas systems - mufflers without catalytic systems.
This procedure describes the requirements considered for the enrollment of applicants in the professional competency certification program organized by RAR, a program which concludes with a theoretical examination and the issuance of the certification with a validity of 3 years.
Authorization of economic operators other than manufacturers or their representatives who partition and package automotive exploitation materials*
In accordance with OG 80/2000, with its subsequent amendments and completions, and OMTCT 2135/2005, RAR issues the operating authorization for economic operators, other than manufacturers, who partition and package exploitation materials certified or homologated by RAR.

In accordance with OG 82/2000, amended and approved by Law 222/2003 with subsequent amendments and completions, with the provisions of OMTCT 2131/2005 and OMTCT 229/2003 with subsequent amendments and completions, RAR issues the technical operating authorization for economic operators who carry out activities of installation, technical inspections, and repair of supply systems for engines with LPG or CNG, based on a technical capability audit carried out at each of the applicant's workshops. This procedure describes the manner in which RAR processes the files submitted by legal entities for authorization, until the date of the audit is set, in agreement with the applicant.

This procedure describes how RAR processes the files submitted by legal entities for authorization up to the moment of mutually agreeing with the applicant on the date for the audit.
