Hunedoara Pharmacists' College*

The transfer note is issued by the college where the pharmacist is registered, based on a request. Before the transfer note is issued, the requesting pharmacist is required to pay up to date the membership fee owed to the college from which they wish to leave. The transfer note will be handed, under signature, to the applicant. In the register of pharmacists (https://portal.tm-c.eu/LstFarma/ColegFarm) the college to which the pharmacist has transferred will be mentioned. If at the level of the college from which the pharmacist is transferring, a complaint has been filed against them or a disciplinary investigation has been initiated, the complaint or the disciplinary file will be forwarded to the college to which the pharmacist is transferring.

Resumption of membership is done based on an application, which the applicant, the pharmacist, submits to the headquarters of the Territorial College, namely the Hunedoara College of Pharmacists, by which they request the resumption of membership starting from a specific date.

The membership certificate is granted to pharmacists who, by making an express request in this regard, meet the following conditions: they hold an official pharmacy qualification, are not found in any of the cases of unworthiness or incompatibility provided by law, are medically fit to practice the profession for a period longer than 5 years or have obtained their bachelor's degree in the last 5 years, have paid the registration fee (the fee is paid into the account of the Hunedoara territorial college in the amount of 208 lei for persons who registered within 1 year from graduation and 235 lei for other persons).

The fee will be paid into the account of the territorial College RO14 BTRL RONC RT06 4114 6901.

The suspension of membership is made when the applicant, the pharmacist, for certain reasons wishes to interrupt his/her activity for a certain period of time and submits to the headquarters of the territorial College, namely the Hunedoara College of Pharmacists, a request by which he/she requests the suspension of membership. At the time of requesting this suspension, the pharmacist must have paid the membership fee until the end of the year and must fulfill the condition of continuous professional training with a number of 40 EFC hours for the respective period.

The pharmacist undertakes to inform the College of Pharmacists of Romania within 30 days from the resumption of activity.

In order to proceed with the issuance of a duplicate Certificate of membership of the College of Pharmacists of Romania, the applicant must submit the complete documentation at the headquarters of the College of Pharmacists Hunedoara, in accordance with the provisions of Decision no. 4/2004 of the National Council of the College of Pharmacists of Romania.

Regarding the Current Professional Certificate, we would like to make the following clarifications:

In accordance with the provisions of the Pharmacy Law no. 266/2008 in its consolidated form as published in the Official Gazette no. 448/30.06.2009 Part I, as well as the Implementation Norms published in Official Gazette no. 538/03.07.2009 Part I, pharmacists who will hold the position of chief pharmacist in a pharmaceutical unit (in cases of setting up new pharmaceutical units, as well as changes of chief pharmacist – for those who will take over the position), will address the county colleges for obtaining the Current Professional Certificate.

Also, this document is required for pharmacists who wish to practice their profession outside the country's borders.

The methodology for drawing up and issuing the Current Professional Certificate was established by Decision of the National Council of C.F.R. no. 1/2007, a decision published in the Official Gazette of Romania Part I no. 324 of 15.05.2007.

We present below the main provisions of Decision no. 1/2007, as follows:

- The Current Professional Certificate will be drawn up by the College of Pharmacists of Romania and issued by the territorial college where the applicant is registered;

- The validity of the Current Professional Certificate is 3 months from the date of issue;

- Within a maximum of three days from receiving the request to issue the Current Professional Certificate, the territorial college will send the standard application to the College of Pharmacists of Romania for sopreparation and issuing of the document;

- Within a maximum of 30 days from copy of the application, the C.F.R. will draw up the certificate and will send it to the territorial college;

- The Current Professional Certificate will be issued by the College of Pharmacists of Romania, which will draw it up and send it to the territorial college;

- The territorial college will draw up a Register of Records – with the identification details of Current Professional Certificates issued to pharmacists in the respective county – and will deliver them to the applicants against signature of receipt.

The fee for issuing the Current Professional Certificate, in the amount of 100 lei, will be paid into the account of the Territorial College RO14 BTRL RONC RT06 4114 6901.
