Registration in the College of Pharmacists of Romania*
The membership certificate is granted to pharmacists who, by making an express request to this effect, meet the following conditions: hold an official qualification in pharmacy, are not in any of the cases of unworthiness or incompatibility provided by law, are medically fit to practice the profession of pharmacist, have not interrupted the practice of the profession for more than 5 years or have obtained their bachelor's degree in the last 5 years, have paid the registration fee which is 10% of the minimum wage.
Request for the Current Professional Certificate*
Regarding the Current Professional Certificate, we would like to make the following clarifications:

The methodology for preparing and issuing the Current Professional Certificate was established by the Decision of the National Council of the College of Pharmacists of Romania no. 1/2007, decision published in the Official Gazette of Romania Part I no. 324 of 15.05.2007.
Below we present the main provisions of Decision no. 1/2007, as follows:
- The Current Professional Certificate will be prepared by the College of Pharmacists of Romania and issued by the territorial college where the applicant is registered;
- The validity of the Current Professional Certificate is 3 months from the date of issue;
- Within a maximum of three days from karma funding the request for issuance of the Current Professional Certificate, the territorial college will send the standard request form to the College of Pharmacists of Romania for the preparation and issuance of the document;
- Within a maximum of 30 days from receiving the request, C.F.R. will prepare the certificate and send it to the territorial college;
- The Current Professional Certificate will be issued by the College of Pharmacists of Romania, who will prepare and send it to the territorial college;
- The territorial college will prepare a Register of Evidence – with identifying data of the Current Professional Certificates issued to pharmacists from the respective county – and will hand them over to the applicants upon signature of receipt.
The fee for issuing the Current Professional Certificate is 150 lei.
*Duplicate member certificate*
In order to proceed with the issuance of a duplicate Certificate of Membership of the College of Pharmacists of Romania, the applicant must submit the complete documentation at the headquarters of the Bucharest College of Pharmacists, in accordance with the provisions of Decision no. 4/2004 of the National Council of the College of Pharmacists of Romania, the documents presented below.

Pharmacist transfer*
The transfer note is issued by the college where the pharmacist is registered, based on a request. Before the transfer note is issued, the requesting pharmacist is required to pay up to date the membership fee owed to the college from which they wish to leave. The transfer note will be handed to the applicant, under signature. In the pharmacist register (https://portal.tm-c.eu/LstFarma/ColegFarm) the college to which the pharmacist has been transferred will be mentioned. If at the level of the college from which the pharmacist is transferring a complaint has been registered against them or a disciplinary investigation has been initiated, the complaint or the disciplinary file will be forwarded to the college to which the pharmacist is transferring.
*Resumption of membership*
Resumption of membership is done based on a request, which the applicant, the pharmacist, submits at the headquarters of the Territorial College, respectively the Bucharest College of Pharmacists, by which they request the resumption of membership starting from a certain date.
*Suspension of membership*
Suspension of membership status occurs when the applicant, the pharmacist, for certain reasons wishes to interrupt their activity for a certain period of time and submits to the headquarters of the Territorial College, respectively the College of Pharmacists Bucharest, a request asking for the suspension of membership status. At the time they request this suspension, the pharmacist must have paid the membership fee up to the end of the year and must fulfill the requirement of continuous professional training with a number of 40 EFC hours for the respective period.

The pharmacist undertakes to inform the College of Pharmacists of Romania within 30 days of resuming activity.
*
