Rights of persons with disabilities*
Ensuring access to social assistance services for all people in difficulty, developing the social services system, respecting the child's rights both in the family and within the protection system, developing the network of social services at the community level, improving and diversifying forms of support for people with disabilities, supporting people looking for a job, preventing the separation of the child from the parents, support for young people in the institutionalized system, family placement for integration into normal social life.

Granting the child-raising allowance*
The allowance for raising children up to 2 years old, or up to 3 years old in the case of a child with a disability, is a form of support to which are entitled persons who, in the last 24 months prior to the date of the child's birth, have earned income for 12 months from salaries, income from independent activities, income from agricultural activities subject to income tax according to the provisions of Law no. 571/2003 regarding the Fiscal Code, with subsequent amendments and completions – income subject to taxation, or have been in one or more of the situations called assimilated periods. Any of the child's biological parents, as well as a person who has adopted a child, may benefit from this right, provided they meet the eligibility criteria.

Granting of the guaranteed minimum income*
Social assistance is granted monthly, in addition to the net monthly income of the family or single person, to ensure the guaranteed minimum income. The payment of social assistance is provided by the Vaslui County Agency for Payments and Social Inspection, from the budget of the Ministry of Labor and Social Justice. For the amounts granted as social assistance, one of the adult members of the family must perform, monthly, activities or works of local interest for all family members, without exceeding the normal working hours; failure to fulfill this obligation results in the suspension of social assistance payment, and if within 3 months from the suspension this obligation is not fulfilled, the payment of social assistance ceases.

Granting aid for home heating*
Families and single persons who have a monthly income of up to 750 lei per family member and use natural gas, electricity or solid fuels for heating their home - Romanian citizens, as well as foreign citizens or stateless persons with domicile or, as applicable, residence in Romania, established under the conditions of Romanian legislation;
Families who have a monthly income of up to 786 lei per family member and single persons who have a monthly income of up to 1,082 lei and who use thermal energy for heating their home, as well as foreign citizens or stateless persons with domicile or, as applicable, residence in Romania, established under the conditions of Romanian legislation.

Granting family support allowance*
The family support allowance is a form of aid for low-income families who are raising and caring for children up to the age of 18 who attend an educational institution according to the law and which is granted by order of the mayor of Zapodeni commune.
The granting of the family support allowance aims to supplement the incomes of families in order to provide better conditions for the upbringing and education of children, as well as to encourage the attendance by school-aged children, who are in the care of low-income families, of courses in an educational form organized according to the law, according to art. 1, para. 2 of Law no. 277/2010 regarding the family support allowance, republished, with subsequent amendments and completions.

Granting educational incentive in the form of social vouchers for kindergarten*
Social tickets for kindergarten are granted to children from disadvantaged families who participate in activities organized within preschool education units and who are at risk of both dropping out and not attending preschool courses, due to limited access to economic resources and education. The minimum nominal monthly value of the educational incentive, granted in the form of social tickets for kindergarten, is 50 lei/month.
The social ticket for kindergarten is granted to children from disadvantaged families, provided that the following criteria are cumulatively met:
- the child is enrolled in a preschool education unit, and the monthly income per family member is up to twice the level of the guaranteed minimum income for a single person, as stipulated by Law no. 416/2001 regarding the guaranteed minimum income, with its subsequent amendments and completions.

Granting state allowance for child*
The state allowance for children is granted to all children up to the age of 18, without discrimination. The state allowance for children is also granted to young people who have turned 18 and are attending high school or vocational education courses, organized according to the law, until they finish these courses, except for those who repeat the school year, with the exception of those repeating for health reasons, proven with a medical certificate.
The state allowance for children is also granted to children of foreign citizens and stateless persons who are residents, under the law, in Romania, if they live together with their parents.
This right can be requested by either parent of the child, as well as the person who has adopted a child, provided they meet the eligibility criteria.
