Granting social assistance*
Social assistance is granted monthly, to supplement the net monthly income of the family or single person, in order to ensure the minimum guaranteed income. The payment of social assistance is provided by the County Agency for Payments and Social Inspection Ialomita, from the budget of the Ministry of Labour and Social Justice.
For amounts granted as social assistance, one of the adult members of the family must perform, monthly, actions or works of local interest for all members of the family, without exceeding the normal work schedule; failure to fulfill this obligation results in the suspension of social assistance payment, and if this obligation is not fulfilled within 3 months from uniform suspension, the social assistance payment ceases.

Granting insertion incentive*
Eligible persons (who, during 12 months out of the 2 years before the child’s birth, earned income from salaries, income from independent activities, income from agricultural activities, or were in one or more of the situations called assimilated periods) who, during the period they are entitled to benefit from child-raising leave, obtain taxable income are entitled to an insertion incentive in the monthly amount of 50% of the minimum monthly child-raising allowance.
For persons who obtain taxable income at least 60 days before the child turns 2 years old, or 3 years old in the case of a child with a handicap, the granting of the insertion incentive is provided until the child turns 3 years old, or 4 years old in the case of a child with beardicap.
Either natural parent of the child, as well as the person who has adopted a child, may benefit from this right, provided they meet the eligibility criteria.

Granting allowance for family support*
The family support allowance is a form of aid for low-income families who are raising and caring for children up to the age of 18 and is granted by the order of the mayor of Constanța municipality.
The granting of the family support allowance aims to supplement the income of families in order to ensure better conditions for the upbringing and education of children, as well as to encourage the attendance by school-aged children, in the care of low-income families, of the courses of a form of education organized according to the law, according to art.1, paragraph 2 of Law no. 277/2010 regarding the family support allowance, republished, with subsequent amendments and completions.

Granting of state allowance for children*
The state child allowance is granted to all children up to the age of 18, without discrimination. The state child allowance is also granted to young people who have reached the age of 18 and are attending high school or vocational education courses, organized according to the law, until their completion, except for those who repeat the school year, except for those who repeat for health reasons, proven by a medical certificate.
The children’s state allowance is also granted to the children of foreign citizens and stateless persons residing, under the law, in Romania, if they live together with their parents. This right can be requested by either of the child’s natural parents, as well as the person who has adopted a child, provided that the eligibility criteria are met.

Granting monthly allowance for child raising*
The allowance for raising children up to 2 years old, or up to 3 years old in the case of a child with a disability, is a form of support to which persons are entitled who, in the last 24 months prior to the child's birth, have earned income for 12 months from salaries, income from independent activities, income from agricultural activities subject to income tax according to the provisions of Law no. 571/2003 on the Fiscal Code, with subsequent amendments and completions - taxable income, or have been in one or more of the situations called assimilated periods. Either of the child's biological parents may benefit from this right, as well as the person who has adopted a child, provided that they meet the eligibility criteria.
