"The professional scholarship" is a national social program addressed to all students attending vocational education and consists of a monthly financial support.
Children of foreigners benefiting from a form of protection in Romania or of foreigners, namely citizens of the European Union/Economic European Area and of the Swiss Confederation with the right of residence on the territory of Romania, who attend vocational education, also benefit from "The professional scholarship".
Students in vocational education cannot benefit simultaneously from "The professional scholarship" and the financial support granted within the National Program for Social Protection "High School Money".
At the level of the Ministry of Education, a national monitoring commission for granting "The professional scholarship" is established.
