The procedure is addressed to individuals who own means of transport and request the removal of the means of transport from the fiscal records.

The removal from the fiscal records is carried out by the Fiscal Certificate Issuance Department within the Pitesti City Hall, upon the taxpayer's request, based on a declaration for removal from the fiscal records, filled in and signed by the applicant.

The removal from the fiscal records is done within 30 days from the date of the request.

For the identification of individuals in relation to the local tax authority and the establishment of their fiscal domicile, the following documents are to be attached electronically, as applicable: - the identity document; - the birth certificate (in the case of a minor owner who does not possess an identity card, in which case the application will be completed by his/her legal guardian); - the certificate of fiscal registration (the document by which the fiscal identification number/fiscal registration code is individualized and is used in case the taxpayer does not have a personal identification number). The conformity with the original of the copies is carried out by the taxpayer/payer by writing the statement "certified true to the original" and by their signature, according to art. 64 para. (5) of Law no. 207/2015 regarding the Fiscal Procedure Code, with subsequent amendments and additions.*
