For registering a means of transport in the fiscal records, the form (model 2016 ITL 005) is downloaded, completed, and electronically signed with a qualified electronic signature.*

For the identification of individuals in relation to the local tax authority and the establishment of their tax domicile, the following documents shall be attached electronically, as the case may be: - Identity document; - Birth certificate (in the case of a minor owner who does not possess an identity card, in which case the tax declaration shall be filled in by his/her legal guardian); - Tax registration certificate (document by which the tax identification number/tax registration code is individualized and is used in case the taxpayer does not have a personal identification number). Note: The compliance of the copies with the original is carried out by the taxpayer/payer by entering the mention "certified copy of the original", in accordance with art. 64 para. (5) of Law no. 207/2015 regarding the Fiscal Procedure Code, as subsequently amended and completed, and each document shall be electronically signed with a qualified electronic signature.*

For the representation of taxpayers in the relationship with the local fiscal authority, the following documents are attached electronically: - Power of attorney and identity document of the authorized person. Note: The conformity with the original of the copies is performed by the taxpayer/payer by entering the mention "certified true to the original", according to art. 64 par. (5) of Law no. 207/2015 regarding the Fiscal Procedure Code with subsequent amendments and completions, and each document will be electronically signed with a qualified electronic signature.*

In the case of individuals, for the registration of a means of transport in the tax records, the following supporting documents shall be attached electronically, as applicable: - Identity document - Document of acquisition of the means of transport, which may be, as applicable: - Fiscal invoice - Contract of transfer-acquisition - Exchange contract - Donation act - Payment in kind act - Adjudication act - Court decision, final and irrevocable/final and enforceable, etc. - In the case of means of transport subject to financial leasing contracts: - Financial leasing contract and/or contract of novation/assignment/Proof of recovery and request for termination - Handover protocol or any other similar document in the case of taxpayers who are lessees; - Vehicle identification card; - Fiscal attestation certificate issued in the name of the seller/former user, by the specialized department of the competent local public administration authority, except for means of transport acquired from abroad. In the case of the transfer of ownership, by using, as applicable, the CONTRACT OF TRANSFER-ACQUISITION, MODEL 2016 ITL-054, the stamp applied in the upper right corner, represents the equivalent of the FISCAL ATTESTATION CERTIFICATE (according to ORDER 1069/1578/114 of 28.07.2016)! Note: The conformity with the original of the copies is to be done by the taxpayer/payer by entering the note "conform with the original", according to art. 64 para. (5) of Law no. 207/2015 on the Fiscal Procedure Code, as subsequently amended and supplemented, and each document will be electronically signed with a qualified electronic signature.*
