According to art 18* of Law no.416/2001 with subsequent amendments and additions, according to art.28 of Law 277/2010 regarding the allowance for family support, the director of the territorial agency requests the town hall in whose territorial area the family resides, to verify the situation which led to the registration of unpaid amounts for social aid and the allowance for family support, through a social inquiry. The result of the verification is communicated to the territorial agency.
