Online issuance of certificates/recommendations for the recognition of Romanian qualification titles for general nurse, midwife, and nurse required in other EU Member States*
In accordance with Law 278/2015, the Order of Nurses, Midwives and Medical Assistants in Romania, as the competent authority, prepares and issues the documents (certificates, etc.) necessary for the recognition for professional purposes of Romanian qualification titles of general nurse, midwife, and medical assistant, in other EU Member States.
The activities for the attestation of Romanian qualification titles of general nurse, midwife, and medical assistant, in other EU Member States consist of preparing and issuing documents, hereinafter referred to as attestation documents, used by the authorities of other EU Member States, the states belonging to the European Economic Area and the Swiss Confederation in order to recognize these titles professionally according to the procedures provided by Directive 2005/36/EC of the European Parliament and the Council of 7 September 2005 on the recognition of professional qualifications, with subsequent amendments and completions. As appropriate, the attestation documents are certificates or recommendations.
Online applications for the issuance of the documents necessary for the recognition for professional purposes of the aforementioned Romanian titles, accompanied by the corresponding documents, are submitted via PCUe to the county branch/ of the Municipality of Bucharest of OAMGMAMR, to which the applicant is a member. If the applicant has NOT acquired the status of OAMGMAMR member, the application is submitted online via PCUe to the branch of OAMGMAMR in whose territorial area the applicant resides.
In the event that the applicant does not attach all the required documents or it is found that the file is incomplete, the applicant will be notified via the PCUe system. Within 15 days from notification, the applicant is obliged to complete the file with all required documents. If the applicant does not meet the completion deadline, upon its expiration, the file will be automatically closed by the PCUe system.
The recognition documents (certificates/recommendations) will be prepared by the specialized structure of the OAMGMAMR National level, and within 90 days from the registration of the complete electronic file, will be sent online to applicants via PCUe by the county branch of OAMGMAMR where they submitted the electronic file.
