Olt Pharmacists' College*

Resumption of membership status is done based on a request, which the applicant, the pharmacist, submits to the headquarters of the territorial College, namely the College of Pharmacists Bucharest, requesting the resumption of membership status starting from a specific date.

In support of the request, the documents listed below are attached.

Membership suspension occurs when the applicant, the pharmacist, for certain reasons wishes to interrupt their activity for a specific period of time and submits a request at the headquarters of the territorial College, namely the Bucharest Pharmacists' College, requesting the suspension of their membership. When requesting this suspension, the pharmacist must have the fee paid up to the end of the year and must meet the requirement of continuous professional training with a minimum of 40 EFC hours for that period.

The pharmacist is obliged to inform the Romanian Pharmacists' College within 30 days of resuming activity.

The transfer note is issued by the college where the pharmacist is registered, based on a request. Before issuing the transfer note, the requesting pharmacist is obliged to pay in full the dues owed to the college from which they wish to leave. The transfer note will be handed, with signature, to the applicant. In the pharmacist record register (https://portal.tm-c.eu/LstFarma/ColegFarm) the college to which the pharmacist was transferred will be mentioned. If a complaint has been registered against the pharmacist at the college from which they are transferring or if a disciplinary investigation has been initiated, the complaint or the disciplinary file will be transmitted to the college to which the pharmacist is transferring.

Regarding the Current Professional Certificate, we would like to state the following:

In accordance with the provisions of the Pharmacy Law no. 266/2008 in its consolidated form as published in the Official Gazette no. 448/30.06.2009 Part I, as well as the Application Norms published in the Official Gazette no. 538/03.07.2009 Part I, pharmacists who will hold the position of chief pharmacist in a pharmaceutical unit (in cases of establishing new pharmaceutical units, as well as when changing the chief pharmacist - for those who will take over the chief position), must address the county colleges to obtain the Current Professional Certificate.

Also, this document is required for pharmacists who wish to practice their profession outside the country's borders.

The methodology for the preparation and issuance of the Current Professional Certificate was established by Decision of the National Council of C.F.R. no. 1/2007, a decision published in the Official Gazette of Romania, Part I no. 324 of 15.05.2007.

Below are the main provisions of Decision no. 1/2007, as follows:
- The Current Professional Certificate will be prepared by the College of Pharmacists of Romania and issued by the territorial college at which the applicant is registered;
- The validity of the Current Professional Certificate is 3 months from the date of issuance;
- Within a maximum of three days from receipt of the request for issuance of the Current Professional Certificate, the territorial college will send the standard request to the College of Pharmacists of Romania for the preparation and issuance of the document;
- Within a maximum of 30 days from receipt of the request, C.F.R. will prepare the certificate and send it to the territorial college;
- The Current Professional Certificate will be issued by the College of Pharmacists of Romania, which will prepare it and send it to the territorial college;
- The territorial college will prepare a Register of records—with identifying data for the Current Professional Certificates issued to pharmacists in that county—and will hand them to the applicants with acknowledgement of receipt.

The issuance fee for the Current Professional Certificate, in the amount of 150 lei, will be paid to the account of the territorial College.

To obtain the Current Professional Certificate, the pharmacist will submit to the territorial college a file that will include the documents attached below.
