The application for registration shall be drafted in Romanian and shall contain information regarding the expert: name, surname, personal identification number, citizenship, domicile address in the EU or EEA member state or in the Swiss Confederation and, if available, residence address in Romania, expert’s specialization, telephone, fax, e-mail, website. The application for registration shall be submitted in original.*

The applicant shall submit the criminal record certificate, which is within the validity period. Romanian citizens shall submit the original criminal record certificate. Citizens of a European Union Member State, other than Romania, shall submit the criminal record certificate accompanied by the multilingual standard form – an aid for translation [Annex XI to Regulation (EU) 2016/1191]. Citizens of Member States of the European Economic Area or the Swiss Confederation shall submit the criminal record certificate apostilled or legalized, as appropriate, accompanied by its certified translation.*

The applicant will submit a statement on their own responsibility that they have full legal capacity, drafted in Romanian. The statement on their own responsibility will be submitted in original.*

The document attesting the acquisition of the professional qualification of judicial technical expert in the country of origin shall be submitted in a legalized copy or in a copy certified for conformity with the original and signed by the designated person from the Ministry of Justice. If the document is issued in a language other than Romanian, a legalized translation in Romanian of the respective document shall also be submitted.*

Proof of citizenship of one of the EU member states or belonging to the European Economic Area or of citizenship of the Swiss Confederation will be provided with the identity document and, if necessary, with another document proving citizenship. The document shall be submitted in copy.*

The applicant shall submit a recommendation regarding good professional and social reputation, obtained from the workplace, professional associations in the field, or, as the case may be, from other organizations and institutions with which they have collaborated. The recommendation must be submitted in original. If the document is issued in a language other than Romanian, a legalized translation of the document into Romanian shall also be submitted.*

The applicant will submit the cash payment receipt, the payment order by bank transfer, or the document generated following the online payment of the judicial stamp fee in the amount of 100 lei. The payment document must be submitted in original.*
