This academic procedure, code ACD-25, establishes the rules and responsibilities regarding the recognition by "Danubius" University of Galați of the teaching positions in higher education, obtained at an accredited higher education institution abroad, for the purpose of occupying, for a fixed period, certain vacant teaching positions as an associate-invited academic staff member, as well as for participation in selection committees for filling vacant teaching and research positions.

In the case of a decision not to recognize the teaching position obtained at a higher education institution abroad, the applicant may file an appeal within two working days from the date of communication of the evaluation result.

The appeal, addressed to the Rector, is to be formulated in writing, registered with the DRU within UDG and resolved by an Appeal Resolution Committee, appointed by the Rector's decision. The committee consists of 3 members, teaching staff employed at UDG, other than those from the Evaluation Committee. (3) Appeals may be submitted exclusively for non-compliance with the legal procedures regarding the conduct of the evaluation process, only by the appellant and only concerning the application for which the file was submitted. (4) The decision of the Appeal Resolution Committee is final, it is recorded in writing in a report which is forwarded to the Rector, signed by all Committee members, and communicated in writing to the appellant within three days from its issuance. (5) The appeal and the decision of the Appeal Resolution Committee shall be attached to the file of the applicant who submitted the appeal.
